Highlander reboot (film) - Henry Cavill

So, a reboot of the 1986 classic with Henry Cavill as Connor MacLeod? And directed by John Wick director Chad Stahelsk.

Hope it is a good solid version, with the same dark tones to it. And hopefully a sound track even half as good!

Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. The 80's film is part urban fantasy, part action and all cheese.

Who would be the new "Queen"?

As long as the film can retain that thread of utter sadness over the issues of immortality and mortality it covers in its story... Fine!

Who knows... They might be able to improve on it, or at least do it some justice...

Just needs those sombre dark undertones that mortality vs immortality raises...

I'm with Neil. Can be done alright if the dark sides of immortality are shown as well, like in the last film.
