My favourite part is the little slogan down at the bottom "Go Ahead. Use us." As if it's almost TOO COOL to be used, but these guys just nod their heads and tell you to "Go ahead. Use us.... For 129 bucks." 129 fucking bucks!? That shit they're offering takes maybe, at it's most, 30 minutes and CAN be done in 10 if you're in a hurry.

It'd be interesting if someone who could do a convincing old lady voice could call the store and ask about the PS3 for her "grandson Jimmy" and then see if they try and sell the $129 package to her. "Oh, is it very difficult to set up?" I'd love to see what someone working at Best Buy would have to say in such an instance.

I feel sorry for the poor bastard at the checkout point who's probably forced by the management to try to argue gullible customers into paying extra for the "Geeks". It's also interesting that they use technical terms like "firmware" (a concept which even many hardcore gamers don't fully understand) in an ad obviously aimed at technical novices. The apparent intention is to make the reader think: "Firmware? I don't even know what that IS! Fuck, and I thought it would just be a matter of plugging in two wires! Well, I don't want to look stupid in front of my bratty, impatient kids, I'll just pay for the Geeks. After all, it must be a fucking major job if they're charging the same as a plumber's call-out charge just to set it up!"
