Dawn Airport/Plaid Zombie Bust

Trick Or Treat Studios will be releasing a nice bust of the Airport Zombie from Dawn. They also have classic characters from other zombie films including Zombie Holocaust, Fulci’s Zombie, etc. These are preorder and unless I overlooked it, there is no street date listed just yet.

It’s an impressive bust, but something about the face sculpting seems a tad “off” to me. Not the gore effects, but the face of the zombie himself. It doesn’t remind me of the actor that played him. Not a deal breaker, just a minor grievance.

That's the first thing I thought when I saw it - the face doesn't match the actor. Well made nonetheless, but yeah, just doesn't quite match the guy.

Their Fulci zombie (the one from the "WE ARE GOING TO EAT YOU" movie poster) looks quite good, even moreso for their Dr Freudstein bust, and their Zombie Holocaust bust is a little mixed (I don't recognise the main one, but the other head down at the bottom is the spitting image of one from the flick and a great match).

The chubby boat-zombie also looks pretty well done. It seems based on the famous "missing scene", where he comes out of the water somewhere in New York (and according to some then proceeds to attack and kill some wino):

I haven't seen that movie in a long time, but I think it's the zombie that the cannibals see when they are eating that guy who gets impaled in their trap, then they freak out and run away.
