Original 'Night' & 'Dawn' screenings in London!

A lot of you UK zombie-heads may already be aware of this but I've just found out that Max (The Zombie Survival Guide) Brooks has a 'Festival Of The Dead' running at the London Barbican cinema between the 14th and 18th of November 2006. 'Night Of The Living Dead' will be screened on the 14th at 8.30pm (£11) and 'Dawn Of The Dead' makes an appearance on the 15th at 8.45pm (£7.50). Unfortunately 'Day' and 'Land' never made the roster (why?) and Brooks favoured some Japanese zombie flicks to round off the festival between the 16th and 18th. I for one will definitely be attending the 14th-15th as cinematic screenings of 'Night' and 'Dawn' in the UK are too rare to pass up. The full line up is available on the Barbican website. What a treat!

Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam.
