Has there been any updates or current news about this original unproduced sequel that is supposedly seeing a 2019 release?

This might be the first I’ve heard of it! After searching around, the most I can find is the IMDB page, which only credits Rucci, Streiner, and Russo for the story. Not much else in the way of information, as far as I can tell. I generally try to stay optimistic about these kinds of things, but past post-Night efforts without Romero have been disappointing. Usually a cash grab due to the film being in the public domain, unfortunately. We have some members from Pittsburgh and abroad that are sometimes “in the know”, so maybe someone will know something?... If I haven’t mentioned it before: Welcome to the HPotD!
