Nuclear war? I'm going to buy a suitcase of beer and kick back and hope that I'm lucky enough to go fast with the flash. I live 20 miles from Oak Ridge -- I'm not too worried about this being the case. If it's nuclear war we're talking about, I'll be happy to be incinerated in about a milisecond without ever knowing what happened. The alternative is dying from the slow and agonizing process of radiation poisoning. Or, maybe if you're lucky and don't have heavy radiation levels in your area, you'll just die from starvation. Great alternatives there to being incinerated. If it's nuclear war we're talking about, you want to die fast. j.p.

Agreed with the nuclear war scenario, jd - I would hope I'd go with the flash.. considering I live probably 40 miles max from Washington, DC, I think that's not going to be a problem. Let's say it's something else - what if it's a virus that's run rampant across the world? Or some sort of nasty disease? or the zombies show up? or it starts raining brimstone & fire? Perhaps everyone gets swine flu and turns into raving lunatics...?

If it's nuclear war we're talking about, you want to die fast. j.p. Depends on how many nukes, where you are, and what kind of refuge you have access to. If I could make it there, I'd go to my brother's place in Colorado. Of course, I live about 10 miles outside of Washington, DC, so I'm probably NOT making it there.

Have you looked up any pictures of it? It's NICE. I could live there now without any reason! Whoa, I wish I had 2.3 mil just laying around... I don't think I'd even want to go to most of the places on that list; too many people and mostly military - we've all seen Day...
