    Youtube Thread

I just thought we needed a place in here where we can post any bits and bobs of interest that we've made and/or chopped together and posted on Youtube that might not be cool/important enough to create a whole new thread for.

I'll start us off with my crappy drunken 3 minute zombie epic:

And my little Dead-series heavy metal montage:

    Post your own!

i dont really put any of my serious stuff on youtube, its like deviant art, pretty dodgy terms of service when you really focus on there careful wording about copyright and the like.

    My short...

Here is something that I put together for the Dotd contest.... It also kind of serves as a teaser for a internet show that will start later this year.

Dude, I dug your short man. Holy Shit, that was pretty damn good for a 3 minute drunken epic. Not bad.

Thanks man! That movie was actually shot on my girlfriend's Kodak digital stills camera, believe it or not. And there were only two of us there so we had to prop the camera on the edges of shelves and tactfully placed chairs to get the shots we needed.

I was playing around with liquid latex today, trying to create a dessicated, weathered, leprous look for a short movie I'm working towards. A good time was had by all... except me, trying to get the shit off after testing it (I REALLY should have shaved first)

    Check it out:

    Ouch!

Reminds me of the times at school when we'd paste PVA glue all over our hands and then revel in peeling it off like a horror movie.

An atmospheric short that I cut together quickly in October 2008 for the Frieze Film 2008 "Road Movie" collaborate YouTube project. Footage from this short was used (along with a bunch of footage from a whole bunch of other YouTubers) to make four short films for the "3 Minute Wonder" series on Channel 4 during the last week of October 2009.

The "Road Movie" YouTube collaboration project was inspired by Cormac McCarthy's "The Road" ... hence the start B&W visuals, and 'ash' falling and resting on trees etc (it was snow, just repositioned into this context).

The road footage was shot for another project that never actually happened, so I just dug it out of my collection of tapes and used it for this new purpose. Main 'B' and 'A' roads is what they are around abouts my neck of the woods out here in the sticks.
