That movie was actually shot on my girlfriend's Kodak digital stills camera, believe it or not. And there were only two of us there so we had to prop the camera on the edges of shelves and tactfully placed chairs to get the shots we needed.

I was playing around with liquid latex today, trying to create a dessicated, weathered, leprous look for a short movie I'm working towards. A good time was had by all... except me, trying to get the shit off after testing it (I REALLY should have shaved first) Check it out:

An atmospheric short that I cut together quickly in October 2008 for the Frieze Film 2008 "Road Movie" collaborate YouTube project. Footage from this short was used (along with a bunch of footage from a whole bunch of other YouTubers) to make four short films for the "3 Minute Wonder" series on Channel 4 during the last week of October 2009. The "Road Movie" YouTube collaboration project was inspired by Cormac McCarthy's "The Road" ... hence the start B&W visuals, and 'ash' falling and resting on trees etc (it was snow, just repositioned into this context). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_2FM7S9_JyI

The road footage was shot for another project that never actually happened, so I just dug it out of my collection of tapes and used it for this new purpose. Main 'B' and 'A' roads is what they are around abouts my neck of the woods out here in the sticks.
