HUGE Romero Reunion-Texas Frightmare Weekend February 22-24

I've seen that some people here on this forum have been looking for NotLD and Dawn reunions. Well, have we got a massive guest list for you!

An independent film classic has stood the test of time -- 40 years, in fact -- continuously conjuring visions of a society consuming itself. Since its 1968 debut, this genre-defining horror film's persistent power to frighten and inspire is undeniable. We are, of course, referring to Night of the Living Dead!

Texas Frightmare Weekend and AFI DALLAS International Film Festival, in association with CR Management, are honored to serve as the kick off event of a historic 40th Anniversary World Tour reuniting the men and women behind this American film phenomena: Marilyn Eastman, Bill Hinzman, George Kosana, Judith O'Dea, Kyra Schon, Russ Streiner, John Russo and George A. Romero.

Details are coming for an unforgettable off-site salute, co-presented by AFI DALLAS, on the evening of Thursday, February 21. An event certain to make national headlines!

As if this weren't thrilling enough, TFW is also hosting cast reunions for Dawn of the Dead (including an ultra-rare appearance by Dawn producer Dario Argento), Day of the Dead and Land of the Dead -- ranking ours among of the largest Dead tributes ever assembled. Plus, while Mr. Romero is back in Dallas, expect the inside skinny on his latest zombie epic, Diary of the Dead, which is already being hailed as his finest undead effort since Night!

For the latest developments, including potential reunion additions, please sign up for the AFI DALLAS and Texas Frightmare Weekend mailing lists.

Also, with this exciting news, now is the time to make hotel reservations, secure vendor space and purchase advance tickets before they're gone. Particularly, our Celebrity Party passes, which will soon become a distant memory. Don't miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!

Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. Just because your physical friends may not be into it, your internet buddies on HPOTD are... you should try organizing a Road Trip. You might have to make stops along the way to grab those few people, but I am sure they would be game.
