Glass (film) - M. Night Shyamala

Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. Split was surprisingly good. I had given up on Shyamalan a handful of movies prior to that (I think The Happening was the final nail in the coffin so-to-speak), but then I kept hearing lots of good things about Split so I gave it a punt and was pleasantly surprised.

Unbreakable has always been my favorite M Night movie and Split was good, but I worry he may have rushed this one into production? I hope for the best, it just seems like he dove straight into this when he wrapped post on Split.

Hopefully it’s more from the Unbreakable/Signs era rather than Last Airbender/Happening...
