How do I hook 360 up to monitor?

I have a widescreen LCD monitor that I wanna play my 360 on. What kind of cable do I need to be able to hook the monitor to the 360? I don't want to do it through the computer, so please don't reference any video cards.

Thing that sucks is, cause my monitor is an LCD flat/widescreen there are no speakers or audio input on it... therefore I'd have to figure out a way to get the audio to my stereo. Ugh, gonna be a pain in the ass mess of wires.

I suggest buying a 5.1 system with optical input....Seriously it's changed the way I play games...just imagine playing a racing game and from behind you hear vrooooooooom which then shoots past you to the front as you're overtaken by a rival...

or hearing an enemy team mate bark orders to his team behind you, so you turn around to face them head on...

or someone shoots an explosive barrel, which rebounds and lands next to you, with sound that perfectly matches up...

    awesome stuff...
