babylon fields was a pilot for CBS that didn't get picked up. it was about the dead returning to life and attempting to fit into their old lives again. not horror but worth a look as a curiosity. CBS picked up Moonlight (yuck) instead. http://www.tvweek.com/blogs/james-hi...uried_zomb.php

After watching those clips I can see why it wasn't picked up. It looks like a steaming pile of cow dung.

Of course, one of the Cuesta brother's association with the 1st two seasons of Homeland (pre-jumping of the shark) probably helped. I guess this is kind of cool, but I don't have too much interest in this particular premise over a long term medium, and think it'll run out of steam quickly unless it has some incredible writing, and even then don't think it can last too long.

i, ahem, acquired a copy of this several years ago. it was nothing special and, in fact, was rather boring. the premise of the "zombies" and the way they acted was totally, completely ridiculous.
