    YOUTUBE Imbedding

    STOP THE INSANITY!!!!

Can we get a rule about imbedding youtube stuff? It slows down the loading of the threads so bad, I usually wind up closing it down before I even bother seeing what's up. Some people's animated sigs are bad enough...

I really feel that a link to the clip should be sufficient.

It's all about options and choices.

There is also an option to view a thread in "threaded mode" under the options button at the top right called "Display Modes". I'm running on threaded mode, which is similar to the old way of display on Loom. That way you view one post within the thread at a time, rather than several at one time on "linear mode".

That's the best on offer I'm afraid.

    What browser are you using?
Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam.
