Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. that is the place i went to high school. not exactly random, although i did randomly select it from places i am familiar with. before the fieldhouse was added and a few other additions over the last few years it used to look like the letter A from the air (still kinda does) for Anderson.

on another note - i have no idea why finneytown shows up in that info bar - that is miles and miles away on the other side of the county.

yes the second one was cool.

    here's another:

You not getting the boxes & descriptions? I suspect you're using a old(er) version of IE? Try it with Firefox...

The whole idea of Wikimapea is that just like Wikipedia anyone can comment on anything. So you could find your car pasked on a street and draw box around it and put a description on it...
