Revolution (TV series) - Apocalytic series

Sounds like it could be interesting...

described as a high-octane action drama following a group of characters struggling to survive and reunite with loved ones in a world where all forms of energy have mysteriously ceased to exist.

Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. On NBC?

    Doesn't have a shot.

    Remember Jericho?

It could be a great show but most genre shows don't work on network TV. Even The Walking Dead which is a cable hit for AMC has very low viewership compared to the shows on the big networks with ratings comparable to what V had. What happened to V? Cancelled.

But who knows. Maybe it'll work.

If they fully play out the apocalyptic outcome of energy loss, it could be "The Walking Dead" without zombies, which could be interesting!

I just don't think there is a large enough audience to support it on a network. If it were AMC or FX or even the CW it might have a better shot.
