Screamfest, Shriekfest and the slew of other U.S. horror-film festivals set to claw your nerves this Halloween season are bound to get you in the spirit. But there’s always room for one more, right? Say, on a national level? Details are still being confirmed, but there have been rumblings through the Fango news crypt that Lionsgate may be involved in a very large horror fest in the coming months, to the extent that a sizable number of their forthcoming titles will be making their big-screen debuts. While we await confirmation, we’ve heard through the grapevine that those films may include Takashi (THE GRUDGE) Shimizu’s new occult opus REINCARNATION (poster pictured); the slasher opus DARK RIDE, starring THE SOPRANOS’ Jamie-Lynn Sigler; DRIVE-THRU, a fast-food horror flick featuring Morgan (SUPER SIZE ME) Spurlock; THE HAMILTONS (which won the Santa Barbara Film Festival); and Albert Pyun’s single-take alien chiller INFECTION. We’ll give you the full scoop as we learn more! —Ryan Rotten
