Prog metal = Dream Theater, Watch Tower, Fates Warning, Queensryche, etc. and you could even lump in Atheist, DEATH, and Cynic. I wouldn't really consider Tool progressive metal. I guess progressive alternative/rock/industrial. I dunno. I can't even really classify Tool in any category because they're strange and have their own sound. Maybe it's just because I'm not really into them, but to each their own. I'll forgive you this time.
