I always wished that they'd re-record Hotter Than Hell. The songs are great but the production is shit. 1. DEUCE 2. DETROIT ROCK CITY 3. SHOUT IT OUT LOUD 4. HOTTER THAN HELL 5. CALLING DR. LOVE 6. LOVE GUN 7. I WAS MADE FOR LOVIN' YOU 8. HEAVEN'S ON FIRE 9. LICK IT UP 10. I LOVE IT LOUD 11. FOREVER 12. CHRISTINE SIXTEEN 13. DO YOU LOVE ME 14. BLACK DIAMOND 15. ROCK AND ROLL ALL NITE Out of all of these songs, the only ones worthy of re-recording are Deuce and Hotter Than Hell. Still, I require at least Ace to make that worth while.

The fact they got the person who did the artwork for Rock and Roll Over cover to do the new one was cool, but the cover I saw had really ugly colors. Hopefully it was a promo copy not a final one. The song I heard off the album wasnt bad either. I dont mind Kiss doing whatever they do, but I am against them having other ppl dressed as Ace and Peters costumes. Make them new charecters, that guy does not belong dressed as Ace Frehley. Only Ace Frehley does.

Only Ace Frehley does. Agree with you 100%. The thing with re-recording old material is that they will put a new slant on the songs. That will force the band to play them differently live when the fans just want them played the way they were meant to be.

I dont mind Kiss doing whatever they do, but I am against them having other ppl dressed as Ace and Peters costumes. A good friend of mine (the drummer in my band) is a big KISS fan, and even he says they are simply a tribute band, same as Journey.

At the end of the day, this is just another album of songs everyone already has. No real reason to buy. And as far as my own personal preferences go, this particular set of songs doesn't include any of my favorites, anyway.

If you are so smart u will remember that Ace sold his right to use the costume in the 80s when he left the band. That has nothing to do with Paul and Gene dressing up someone and passing them off as him in 2009. I dont care if they tour or what they play but it is slimy and greedy to pass off the band as all original members when they are not. Or are you saying that Ace Frehley is nothing to the history of Kiss and can be replaced by any dork who wears his makeup? If so then u really aren't a fan of his at all.

BTW. kiss' last show at cobo hall! september 26th and im there!! WHOOO!!
