Oh, I know. Some things I don't mind as much as others with this sort of stuff, but one of the worst is that Elvis died a bloated, drug-addled mess on the toilet and...they change the lyrics to one his songs and Pfizer uses it to peddle Viagra. "Viva Viagra!"

"Been done here", "Seen it before", that kinda thing. I just find it funny that so many are seemingly trying to one-up the video in the OP. Sure, it's not a "new" technology, but I feel like everyone is missing the point that this was done live, on stage, and with a living person. Even if done before, it's still pretty damn cool. Especially for a huge festival like Coachella. Not that I care for Tupac...

Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. Why is this such a big deal? Holograms have been around since the 1970s.

    There... is... no... sanctuary.
    Logan's Run (1976)

Beware the beast, man, for he is the Devil's pawn. Alone among God's primates, he kills for sport or lust or greed. Yea, he will murder his brother to possess his brother's land. Let him not breed in great numbers, for he will make a desert of his home and yours. Shun him, drive him back into his jungle lair, for he is the harbinger of death.

But only in the form of rigid, pre-rendered form. Not projected into an area!?
