Such a horrible, piddling little way to die, too.

I had heard about this last night on the phone, of all things. Very sad. I always thought she had a very easy and engaging manner whilst in front of the camera.

I read she was just learning how to ski and the fatal injury occurred on the bunny slope.

It's hard to imagine the bunny slope killing someone.

Very sad, indeed. Her 13 year old was with at the time of the accident, as well. From what I've seen and heard, she was an extremely kind person (talked to staff about their families instead of just 'hello' and 'goodbye') and very down to earth. Always thought she was a great actress, too.
My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.
