    over the weekend.......

    ......got a little camera happy.
    Thought I'd share.
The first one (I posted another shot of this building several months back, taken from a distance. The dogs weren't roaming about this weekend so I got a little closer. It's in a "bad part of town" and the cops are everywhere, so I have to sneak closer and closer each time....gotta time thos piggies.
The other two are jsut "whatever". But, these three are my favs out of 200+shots.

hehehe, the road to the building is already blocked off. How convenient.

I like how you can see the reflection in the marble; The headstones behind me. And, then there's that creepy "Earth Swallows Top of Tombstone" thing going on there.

    This just looked cool.

    What a location!
The broken window, next to the pipe (big, fat trash thing) -sorta mid builing'ish; top floor - eventually I will take a shot from that window, looking down at the bus and other wreckage. That's my goal. BUT, there are dogs!!!! and probably other mean beasties lurking in this building!!!!!
    Wooooo Hooooo
    An adventure!
See?....39 and still going on adventures!!! To quote Tom Petty, "You never slow down, you never grow old"

You heard Petty's new cd, "Highway Companion"? He hasn't slowed down and he hasn't grown old. It's good stuff.

First, the disclaimer: I love Petty! He is the man and I have listened to him for years!

    BUT!!!!

I saw him at Bonnaroo this year with Stevie Nicks and YES he has mostly definitely grown old

He can still rock out though!

    does this answer your question?

There’s a shadow on the moon tonight
I swear I see your face up there with the satellites
    Looking down from outerspace
    Me, I’m drifting home again
    Headlights in my eyes
    Fighting sleep with windows down
    Worn out from long goodbyes.

    Night driver drifting home again

You offered up no history when you blew into town
You remain a mystery, no information found I speed dial the judgment call
The near miss hits the ground
The new king hides behind the throne refusing to be crowned.

Night driver drifting home again (x2)

    High tide rumbles, pch
    My tires losing track
    Helicopter circling, wiping overhead
Now I sit and count the days and try to fill my time
There’s a shadow on the moon tonight
    The dollar gets a dime.

Night Driver Driftin home again (x2)

    Home Again

I really like the first one.

Sort of like a "After the End of the World Road to Nowhere"

Great pics Adreno! If you want to get closer try making friends with the dogs by bringing doggie snacks with you and tossing them into the fence. Make a habit of it and they may let you roam free.

Those are disturbingly beautiful pictures you know....I really like the way they are taken, since they are in Black and white.

Ya, this area would be PERFECT for some sort of horror flick. Hopefully, soon I can get INTO the building and see what nasty scenery is inside!!

Here are 3 more veiws of that building (one of them is a close up of the bus/van wreckage.)
