    The Walking Dead 34

     
    Rick and the group take off for days and it turns out he's looking into his second family in Kentucky, through flashbacks we learn of a heroin addict mother and their two malnourished daughters. He arrives to find all dead and heads back to the prison.

    Andreas homosexual side comes out when she finds her collage girlfriend Alice alive, she and Alice kiss and run off with each other and Dale blows his brains out.

    Tyreese has a epileptic rage fit and slaughters the kids.

    Yeah, he's kidding.
    The book is going downhill bigtime imo. About a half paragraph of conversation, uninteresting zombie action and a bunch of unnecessary splash pages and endless expository. Why it takes so long to put out a book that nowadays must take 4 hours to write is beyond me. There is like 6 or 7 pages of splash and splash like panels. Maybe more.
    color me disappointed.
    Its paced like a manga, except they come out every week and you get 300 pages for 3 bucks.

    I stopped reading Marvel on the regular after John Byrne left X-men, though his run on FF was good too. Frank Miller DD, Simonson Thor. Them days.That was 20 years ago plus. Though I like a Spidey now and then. 86-96 was one of the worst mainstream eras for comics. Almost everything mainstream sucked. That speculator boom ruined everything. I was really digging Batman (DC, i know) but Jim Lee took it over and he is pure ass.Dude is totally overrated. The Old Judge Dredds are great (Brian Bolland?) I love those Eagle Comics.

    I say kill all the mutants and start with Joe Quesada. That guy is a prick and a half.
    And give Stan the Man a blast to the nuts. For that awful show that is getting a SECOND season. UGH.
    Wow, off on a tangent.

    As far as Walking DEad when I wait like 2 months for a book and I read it in 4 minutes I get pissed.

    I've read vol. 1-4. Should I move on to 5, or is it not worth it?

    Goddamn, though, I miss Tony Moore's art. The cover art just doesn't cut it.

    Kirkman always says the new guy is just as good and you know he doesnt believe that. If its true, why have him do the covers?
