PIL have reformed [Archive]

Public Image Limited have reformed with a tasty little line-up, lemme tell you.

John Lydon - vocals
Keith Levene - guitar
Allan Dias - bass
Martin Atkins - drums

Only one away from the original line-up, I believe.

I was playing our song Death Disco a lot after my dad died and that got me thinking about it. Then all the pieces of the jigsaw puzzle just fell together. The guys were up for it - minus Jah Wobble - and it felt like the right time.

PIL are playing Birmingham (Dec 15th), Leeds (16th), Glasgow (18th), Manchester (19th) and London's Brixton motherfucking Academy (21st). My pants are soaked.

if u get the chance u really should.

I saw them a long long time ago in the 80s
and if I get a chance to see the new show
I will.

While the dates are confirmed, a friend of mine (who I can't name) called Keith Levene last night and he said that he is NOT going to be in the reformation.

As predicted by moi, there's no Levene. It's Lydon, Lu Edmonds, Scott Firth and Bruce Smith. :(

More necromancy. Finally caught PIL at Brixton on the 21st and it was a fucking good show. Gig of the year easily.
