Cool picture but I think this has already been posted. I seem to remember it, anyway.

I dont know. Maybe i'm thinking of something else. If you've seen one set of intestines being ripped out, you've seen them all. Rhode's will always be the cream of the crop, though.

Good, good. Glad to see some real carnage may be on tap for this film.

Not only that but it's normally "tastefully done" when it comes to GAr. There's a certain dignity to it. Most times he chooses to put scenes like that on film it's for a purpose. It's intrigal to the story.

Nowdays, there's so much torture porn out there, showing gore for no reason and what not.

Sounds more like GAR Classic, not the GAR Light we've seen recently But hopefully, GAR will hit a renewed stride with this film.

I do, however, think I'll take Stray's advice and view the new film against his more recent work, as opposed to holding him to the veritable gold standard of zombie films that he created back in his heyday. So, I'm cautiously optimistic the film could be a good or decent zombie film, though will not hope for a GAR classic. If, however, one appears I'll be happy...just not hoping for that classic

Nice to see more from this film. It's been months since we've heard/seen something new.

I agree. Whatever his filmaking style/goals are nowdays, hopefully, he can find his voice once again.

Ha. Yeah, it looks like the fat bald boat zombie from ZFE in Plaidboy's clothing.

I'm hoping GAR gives us some all out gore this time around because Land and Diary didn't really cut the mustard claret-wise.

    ?!?!

Land had a boat load of great gore ... perhaps some of the shots were cut short, aye, but there was loads of gore in that flick.

Diary - yes - that wasn't very gory, nor could it have been on that budget, or in that shooting style.

Yeah, a lot of people forget about the Director's Cut of Land. It only added about seven or eight minutes, but about half of that was previously-deleted gore shots, including one of the nastiest kills in any of Romero's films: a screaming soldier having his face peeled back from his lip to the top of his forehead.

I too will never understand why people say that Land lacks in the gore department. It's just a slight notch below Day, imo. And I think we can all agree that Day has the most effective gore...

In the New York Projects we used to call that "getting your wig pushed back".
