Der_Deutsche, first let me apologize for making the Dresden remark. That was insensitive and I should not have made light of that horrible incident.
I was only taking a cheap shot at Germany and England for both losing and crying in their beer together.
All kidding aside, the Germany vs. Italia game was the best game of the world cup in my opinion, and both teams played their guts out.
On top of that, I think Germany was a great host and even if the German team didn't quite make it to the final, the people of Germany are still winners in my book for giving us all a beautful world cup.
And I really do mean that.
